WELCOME TO

KRAKÓW is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful cities in Poland, which has a specific and unique character. Throughout the centuries various nationalities, cultures and religious denominationshave had their part in creating the special atmosphere of this place.

In the very centre of old KRAKÓW there are as many as 300 historic houses, churches and palaces.

The fame of KRAKÓW is alc so connected with people who once lived here, such as the eminent astronomer                Nicholaus  Copernicus, Veit Stoss - a great sculptor, Jan Matejko - a splendid painter, Stanislaw Wyspiánski -a distinguished artist, as well as with our contemporaries, like Karol Wojtyla Pope John Paul II and the world-famous composer, Krzysztof Penderecki.

The city, which until the 17th century was the capital of Poland, has maintained its role of the spiritual  centre of Poland. At the same time it is a major scientific and cultural centre of the country.
